Our StudentSafe management team are passionate experts who all have deep commercial experience delivering world-class school transport into schools and colleges.
Mathew has 30 years as a disrupter within the technology/ground transport sector. He was the founder of Burgundy Global, Matrix Connections and most recently Zeelo and Transport2 UK Ltd. Mathew has built a reputation for building high growth innovative and market leading businesses within the Maas space.
Jonathan Stern (ACMA) has 25 years-experience in travel and technology related businesses. Finance Director of Virgin Holiday. Co-Found of Trainline.com. CFO Holiday Taxis and CoachHire.com
Kit has over 20 years of commercial product development experience, executing R&D, IT, business operations, branding and consulting projects; the majority of which has been gained at start-ups that have been taken through VC funding rounds, private equity raisings, management buy-outs, acquisitions, spin-offs and public listings. He was closely involved in the development of the Kura technology platform.
Richard Woods joined the StudentSafe team as our new Director in October 2023, with responsibility for managing our service delivery via our broad operator network. With over 35 years of experience in the passenger transport industry, Richard has guided many of the well-known coach brands in the UK and internationally, including Stagecoach Group PLC, we are thrilled to have Richard on board.
