Welcome to the Wellington School new transport website.
We are delighted to have partnered with StudentSafe to deliver a technology-led transport management solution to our parents and pupils, with increased safeguarding as our number one priority whilst also encouraging more parents to use the service to help reduce emissions on the School Run.
This secure website allows you to enter your postcode, find your closest stop and book your child’s journey to school. This website will replace the previous booking process.

My child already uses the school bus service. Do I need to re-register?
Parents/guardians must register/re-register pupils each year for the bus service, using the Wellington School Transport Website.
Journeys booked but not taken are non-refundable.
The School offers bus service bookings on a first-come, first-served basis.
Priority will be given to pupils with termly bookings.
The School will do its utmost to accommodate all requests for use of the service.
How do I register?
To register, simply click on the “register” button located at the bottom of the parent app.
You’ll need to provide your email address, which must match the one you’ve registered with the School for security reasons.
The system will then send a One Time Passcode (OTP) to your registered mobile number for verification.
Once entered, you’ll be prompted to set up your password.
My email will not work when registering.
Your email address does not match the email registered with the School. Please contact the School on 01292 269321 to update your details.
When registering my email, I didn’t receive a 6-digit code.
If you do not receive a code, your mobile telephone number does not match the records held by the School.

Where can I find the bus routes and timetables?
Bus routes and timetables can be found on this website. Here you can view each of the routes in detail with bus stops, departure times and fares.
How do I book a regular place on the bus for my child?
Bookings can be made via the Parent App. Routes, fares and timetable information can be viewed and the search facility provides the opportunity to search for the closest stops to your home address.
Bookings are made for the term and are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
How much does the service cost?
Fare information can be found on this website.
Fares are shown for each stop along a route.
The fares indicated are per trip.
When will bus invoices be issued and how should payment be made?
Use of the bus service will be billed termly in arrears, by the School.
Amendments / Cancellations
Any amendments to pupils’ journeys (for example: frequency, route, pick-up location or drop-off point) should be made directly via the following email: [email protected]
What if I need to amend my travel arrangements after booking?
Please email [email protected] with details of the amendments.
What if I would like an additional stop?
Our service can be flexible, and additional stops may be added where there is sufficient demand and they fit within existing routes.
To request a new stop, please complete our short form for review by StudentSafe. All requests are assessed at the next half term or end of term, whichever comes first.

What if I need different stops/routes during the week to accommodate my child’s regular travel?
Our service can be flexible, in this instance please email [email protected]m with your details and requirements and we will check the availability for you.

How do I book an occasional place on the bus for my child?
Bookings can be made for occasional ad hoc journeys by contacting the team at [email protected].
What if my child misses the bus?
We recommend pupils are always at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before departure.
Vehicles should not depart before their allocated time.
If your child does miss the vehicle, however, they will need to make their own way to school.
Please notify the team at [email protected]m if this is the case.
Use of the Service
There is no member of staff on board the buses to manage pupil behaviour; however, senior pupils will bring any relevant matters to the School’s attention.
Pupils must ensure they travel on the route for which they are registered.
Parents/guardians are asked to remind their children that when travelling on the school buses they remain bound by the School’s Behaviour Policy.
Parents/guardians are asked to remind their children that they must abide by the School’s Pupil Code of Conduct.

Terms and Conditions

4. Changes to Service:
The School reserves the right to make route alterations after publication, but will provide notice of any such action.
5. Payment & Charges:
Charges per trip vary according to the route and the particular bus stop on the route. Parents will be informed of route charges at the start of each session and charges will also be available on the Wellington School Transport Website.
Use of the service will be billed termly in arrears by the school, based on bookings made. Payment should be made via your usual method or on receipt of the invoice.
6. Lost Property:
Should a pupil leave any item on a school bus then parents should contact StudentSafe either via email at [email protected] or by phone at 01292 430611 to report the loss providing the bus route and a description of the item(s).
StudentSafe will contact the appropriate bus company to find out if the item has been found. Pupils can then collect the item on the next run.
7. Pupil Code of Conduct:
Pupils must –
Be ready to board at the allotted time. If late, the bus will be unable to wait.
Travel on their designated bus only
Be polite and respectful to the driver and all other passengers at all times
Follow any instruction from the driver without question – it is for their safety and the safety of others
Stay in their seats with seat belts fastened
Look after their belongings and keep them in a safe place
Take litter off the bus
Pupils must not –
Distract the driver, except in an emergency
Leave any items on the bus
Ask to be dropped off anywhere other than their agreed stop
If a pupil sees someone behave badly on the bus, inform a member of school staff on arrival at school.
