Here you’ll find information about our home to school bus routes and our transport service app, using innovative StudentSafe technology.

Dear Parents, 

We are pleased to advise that we have appointed StudentSafe as our new transport management and technology partner. StudentSafe have many years’ experience working with independent schools across the UK and we are delighted to welcome them on board.

The StudentSafe service delivery team will track each vehicle and report any delays and incidents directly to you and the school via their parent app. They will also take over management of the Bus Operators and ensure they operate to a high standard.

Please note that bookings for the late route as well as ad hoc bookings will be available once term commences.

Our customer service team is available Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm to assist you with non-urgent enquiries.

How do I register?
To register, simply click on the “register” button located in the bottom right corner of the parent app. You’ll need to provide your email address, which must match the one you’ve registered with the School for security reasons. The system will then send a One Time Passcode (OTP) to your registered mobile number for verification. Once entered, you’ll be prompted to set up your password.

My email will not work when registering?
If your email address doesn’t match the one registered with the School, please contact admin@fidelis.org.uk to update your details on the School’s system.

When registering my email, I didn’t receive a 6-digit code?
If you didn’t receive a code, it’s likely that your mobile number doesn’t match the records held by the School. Please contact admin@fidelis.org.uk to update your details.

Where can I find the bus routes and timetables?
You can find detailed bus routes and timetables on this website. Explore each route to see bus stops and departure/arrival times.

What if I would like an additional stop?
Our service can be flexible and additional stops can be added if there’s enough demand and if they fit within the current routes. Feel free to contact us at fidelis@studentsafe.com for assistance.

What if I need different stops/routes during the week to accommodate my child’s regular travel?
While split bookings aren’t available, we understand exceptional circumstances may arise. Please email us at fidelis@studentsafe.com for assistance.

How will billing work?

  • Payment for the bus service will be completed via invoice from the school
  • The cost for a full term is £660 per pupil.
  • The cost for the full year is £1650 per pupil.

If I book my child on the bus but they do not travel, will I still be charged?
Yes, as the seat is reserved for your child, no other student can take that seat.

If I cancel my booking after half a term, will I get a refund?
No, billing is for the whole term to facilitate route planning and capacity prediction.

If I start my booking after half a term, will I be charged less?
No, billing is for the whole term. This allows us to plan the routes, stops and bus capacity.

How do I cancel / give notice for the bus service?
All bookings are termly and must be made in advance. If you wish to cancel partway through the term, you will still be charged for the remainder of that term. there are no refunds available for cancelled bookings.

What if I need to amend my travel arrangements before the start of term?
Please email us at fidelis@studentsafe.com, and we’ll assist you.

What to do if the school bus is running late?
Wait at your stop for 10 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time.
Check the StudentSafe parent app for bus tracking and updates.
If the bus hasn’t arrived, contact the StudentSafe control centre at 020 4634 2054.

What if my child misses the bus?
While we recommend being at the stop at least 5 minutes early, our buses should not depart before their allocated time.
If your child misses the bus, you’ll need to arrange their journey to School and please notify us at fidelis@studentsafe.com

Terms and Conditions

IMPORTANT NOTICE

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE.

By accessing this website and clicking “I Accept”, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which govern your use of the StudentSafe booking platform and transport services.

If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not use the website or make any bookings through the platform.

  1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

Account – Your registered StudentSafe user account used to access the booking platform.

Booking – A reservation made through the StudentSafe platform for transport services.

Booking Confirmation – The email confirmation issued by StudentSafe confirming acceptance of a booking.

Child/Children – Any person under the age of 18.

Conditions of Travel – The rules and requirements that all passengers must comply with when travelling on StudentSafe services.

Contract – The agreement formed between you and StudentSafe once a booking has been accepted.

Customer / You / Parent – The person making a booking through the StudentSafe platform.

Force Majeure Event – Any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of StudentSafe, including but not limited to severe weather, road closures, strikes, industrial action, natural disasters, public health emergencies, telecommunications failures, or other unforeseen events.

Payment Method – Any valid debit card, credit card, bank payment method, voucher or other approved form of payment used to purchase services.

Platform – The StudentSafe online booking and management system.

Privacy Policy – StudentSafe’s privacy policy, as updated from time to time.

Repair Charges – Charges incurred for cleaning, repairing or replacing vehicle equipment damaged by a passenger.

Services – The home-to-school transport services provided by StudentSafe.

Transport Operator – Any approved third-party operator contracted by StudentSafe to deliver transport services.

Vehicle – Any bus, coach, minibus or authorised transport vehicle used to provide services.

Website – The StudentSafe website and booking platform.

StudentSafe / We / Us / Our – StudentSafe Ltd.

2.1

StudentSafe operates school transport services and provides the online platform through which bookings are made and managed.

2.2

If you have questions regarding these Terms and Conditions or the services we provide, please contact the StudentSafe Customer Support Team using the contact details provided on our website.

  1. About the Website and These Terms

Your use of the StudentSafe website and the booking of transport services are subject to these Terms and Conditions and any documents referenced within them.

Any personal information provided through the platform will be collected, stored and processed in accordance with the StudentSafe Privacy Policy.

  1. Your Account

4.1

To make bookings and manage transport services, you must create a StudentSafe account.

4.2

You will be required to provide a valid email address and create a secure password. Your login details must remain confidential and should not be shared with others.

Only one account may be registered per email address.

4.3

You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account, including all bookings made using your login details.

4.4

By making a booking, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

4.5

Parents and guardians should ensure that an up-to-date contact telephone number is maintained within their account to allow StudentSafe to provide service updates, emergency communications and transport notifications.

4.6

StudentSafe may provide functionality allowing parents and guardians to link multiple children to a single account and receive service notifications relating to each child’s travel arrangements.

  1. Bookings

5.1

All bookings must be made through the StudentSafe platform.

5.2

Once a booking request has been submitted, StudentSafe will review and process the request. A booking is only confirmed when a Booking Confirmation email has been issued.

5.3

StudentSafe reserves the right to refuse a booking where capacity is unavailable, eligibility requirements are not met, or where other operational constraints apply.

5.4

Bookings may include:

  • Annual transport passes (£1,650)
  • Termly transport passes (£660)
  • Single or occasional journeys where offered (£8.90 per journey)

5.5

StudentSafe may amend routes, timetables, stops or service arrangements where necessary. Reasonable notice will be given whenever possible.

5.6

Bookings made on behalf of a child must be completed by the child’s parent, guardian, or another authorised adult.

  1. Passes and Travel Packages

6.1

StudentSafe may offer annual, termly or other travel packages depending on the transport service and school requirements.

6.2

The specific terms relating to each pass type will be displayed at the time of purchase.

6.3

Travel passes are valid only for the routes, services and periods specified at the time of booking.

6.4

StudentSafe reserves the right to amend or discontinue travel packages where operational requirements necessitate such changes.

  1. The Services

7.1

Any special requirements, including accessibility needs, medical conditions or mobility assistance requirements, should be communicated to StudentSafe before travel commences.

7.2

Children may travel only where bookings have been made and authorised by a parent or legal guardian.

7.3

By making a booking and using the services, passengers agree to comply with the Conditions of Travel.

StudentSafe reserves the right to suspend or withdraw transport services from any passenger whose behaviour poses a safety risk or repeatedly breaches these Conditions.

Such decisions may be made in consultation with the Fidelis College.

7.4

Where a passenger causes damage to a vehicle or its contents, StudentSafe reserves the right to recover reasonable repair or cleaning costs.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Deliberate damage
  • Vandalism
  • Spillages
  • Soiling of seats or interiors
  • Vomiting within the vehicle

An administration charge may also be applied where appropriate.

7.5

StudentSafe services are provided exclusively for authorised students and approved passengers and are not available to the general public unless specifically stated.

7.6

It remains the responsibility of parents and guardians to ensure that the service selected is suitable for their child’s travel requirements.

  1. Conditions of Travel

All passengers using StudentSafe services must:

  • Behave respectfully toward drivers, passenger assistants and fellow passengers.
  • Follow instructions issued by Student Safe staff and drivers.
  • Remain seated where required and wear seatbelts when provided.
  • Refrain from behaviour that may distract the driver.
  • Avoid excessive noise, disruptive behaviour, bullying or harassment.
  • Not consume alcohol, vape, smoke or use illegal substances.
  • Not carry weapons, fireworks, explosives or dangerous items.
  • Not bring items that could pose a safety risk to others.
  • Keep aisles, exits and access points clear at all times.
  • Take responsibility for their personal belongings.
  • Report illness or emergencies to the driver immediately.
  • Arrive at their designated stop in sufficient time before departure.

StudentSafe reserves the right to refuse travel or suspend access to the service for any passenger who breaches these conditions.

Parents and guardians may be notified of any behaviour concerns and schools may be informed where appropriate.

  1. Prices and Payment

9.1

Transport charges and any associated fees are detailed below –

  • Annual transport passes (£1,650)
  • Termly transport passes (£660)
  • Single or occasional journeys where offered (£8.90 per journey)

9.2

Any child attempting to travel without a prior booking will be charged £15 per journey and risks being refused travel due to insufficient space on the bus.

9.3

StudentSafe may offer promotional discounts, vouchers or special offers from time to time. Such promotions:

  • Are subject to specific terms and conditions.
  • Must be applied during booking.
  • Cannot be applied retrospectively.
  • May be withdrawn without notice.

9.4

Unless specifically stated otherwise, prices include only the services detailed within the booking confirmation.

9.5

Payment must be made using an approved payment method before travel can take place.

9.6

StudentSafe in consultation with Fidelis College reserves the right to suspend, amend or cancel bookings where payment remains outstanding.

9.7

All fees and charges must be paid in full and without deduction unless otherwise required by law.
