StudentSafe work in collaboration with a number of highly specialist partners.
Our technology partner possesses more than 15 years experience building platforms and ED Tech software for the group transport sector. Our strong relationship has led to them becoming an equity partner in StudentSafe. They currently supply transport software to schools and operators in multiple global locations.
We have partnered with a number of well established coach operators throughout the UK on a regional basis. These partners have been carefully selected for their proven track records in terms of service delivery and commitment to high levels of service delivery.
We are able to supply telematics ‘black boxes’ to both schools for their own fleets and operators who are working within our programme as well as CCTV cameras both internal and external to coaches and minibuses. This system is unique as it offers ‘live view’ as well as recordings. Our partner for this system has also invested in our business which will ensure alignment.
We are delighted to welcome Fergal Roche and Ian Davies to our team. They are both well respected education leaders who understand how schools think and what parents need.
The coach and minibus sector will need to move to electric vehicles over the next few years. This will be partly driven by government legislation but also by pressure from pupils and parents as concerns about pollution at the school gate grow. We are pleased to announce therefore that we have reached initial agreement with one of the worlds largest manufacturers of electric coaches and buses to supply schools with an electric vehicle solution on an exclusive basis.
Over the coming weeks and months we will be integrating the various elements of our collaboration into a package specifically designed for schools. An electric vehicle fitted with telematics, tracking, CCTV and WIFI connected to a school admin portal and parent app which allows the students to swipe on and off their route every day. All of this wrapped around a managed service for just a few pounds per month per pupil.
